was born in Paddington, North London to Katherine McAdam and Lucian Freud, both Artists and is the third of their four children. She is the great granddaughter of Sigmund Freud the Psychoanalyst.
From a young age Lucy excelled in the Arts, winning competitions from the age of 10. She was married in her early twenties and has two children Peter and James Everett.
Lucy gained a Batchelor of Art Honours Degree in Fine Art Painting from the University of the Arts, Wimbledon after having completed a Diploma at Wimbledon School of Art in Foundation Studies. She also studied Life Drawing at the Royal Academy of Art School.
Lucy has exhibited work both Nationally and Internationally, her last solo show was in Ukraine where she received wide media coverage. Her works have been auctioned by Christies, Bonham's and Sotheby's. She also works on private commissions.
Lucy participated in the Anglo MockBa 2009 in Moscow, Russia, where she was part of the British contingent alongside other leading Artists in their fields, representing British Art, Music, Literature and Film.
While Lucy is currently painting and monoprinting she also holds classes teaching drawing and painting. She has in the past incorporated performance, installation and film in her work. Examples of Lucy's work and performance can be found using the menu at the top of this page.
